I imagine as more people play and finish single player, it might be worth starting a thread so people can find someone to do coop with. Yes, the other thread has a spreadsheet in it but I think one purely for coop partnering would be helpful.

Anyway, I haven't started coop yet and am looking for someone in the same boat with an hour or two to spare on it today, and who can see the whole thing through with me over the next week intermittently. I'd rather do this over voice coms since I imagine it'll make things a lot more effective.

Not that this might be relevant but I've already completed Coop and single player and I'll just give you a heads up, you will enjoy the ending when you complete Coop, Enough said :D

I've just completed the single player today so I'm now looking for someone to do a bit of co-op with, I'll be online most of today and possibly a few hours tomorrow - my steam profile is here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/kona

Give me a shout if you fancy it :)

Playing coop without a mic you really lose half the experience tbh. "Lol" just isn't quite the same as your partner laughing down the mic after you accidently removed the bridge under him and you don't get quite the same feeling when your partner is stood holding a cube with crushers moving closer and closer to him and he can't see them, then a startled cry as they suddenly hit him.

Its possible of course to play without the mic as you can type and it has 'portal placement' icons and countdowns, but honestly its not advisable, you lose so much of the experience. Ingame 'open microphone' works fine.
