Does this DLC only appear for people with that controller though? How is it any different from say a playstation 6 axis controller? (apart from being vastly more expensive and probably reverse engineered from lol)

I'd say it would be playable with a mouse and keyboard. I hope so anyway.

From the description in the link, I would say it is only available with the motion controller

but the MotionPack levels will feature special items and puzzles that take advantage of the controller’s unique abilities.

The MotionPack comes bundled with with Razer Hydra controller

Sounds like specially designed levels for the controller with extra abilities. Its not the dlc they were talking about releasing in the summer from the sound of it so its just a few extra bits to help shift this thing. COuld be wrong but thats how I interpret it.

Looks like you can only get the DLC by buying the controller. Which makes me sad because I will never buy it.

not sure how you could tilt a controller to stretch a plank like you can with this by moving your hands apart.

Whats so special about the controller? From the looks of the video its nothing that can't be done with just a mouse and keyboard. In blender its possible to stretch, rotate and move stuff easily enough with just a mouse and keyboard, and with the exception of stretching garys mod has the ability to control objects like that with just a mouse and keyboard.

I can see Sony or MS using that style of controller.

No way it'll replace keyboard and mouse for PC gaming.
