After the success of the robot customisation store in Portal 2, Valve has rapidly prototyped an idea of what Portal 3 will be like in terms of features.

ok thanks for that ?

tbh this cartoon reflects a huge swell of anti Valve felling thats out there right now and growing. It could be asked have Valve shot themselves in the foot somewhat.

1. Portal 2 too short
2. Day 1 DLC
3. Console Port anyone
4. The whole spud "ruse" has backfired

Right now Portal 2's Meta is taking an absolute hammering. So while publication reviews are 9/10 etc the user reviews currently put it at a very poor 6.2

The DLC is not really a relevant problem. Its all aesthetics and you don't lose anything by not having it...

That said that picture made me chuckle "Now you're thinking with dollar signs" lol :)

Day one DLC. Aww what a shame. No one is FORCING you to buy it. It's all cosmetic. Big woop.

Is no one EVER happy about a game anymore? It kept me entertained for about 8-9 hours to complete the SP, ace games, great puzzles, good story and voice acting, great game overall.

Not to add the HOURS of potential fun that can be had in co-op! Just played a few levels, and was in stitches all the through.

What more do you want? Seriously. At least it was longer than the last Modern Warfare game!

They need to make some money somewhere, look at how many free updates TF2 has had. Granted, they not have the items etc, but again, NO ONE IS MAKING YOU BUY THEM.

Seriously, some people need to grow up.

It's not a console port though..just a bunch of whiny spoiled brats complaining tbh.

Picture made by someone butthurt and hysterical or a troll.

Console port? I thought it was built for pc and then EA ported it to consoles?

Well it would appear the FOV is locked in a way that makes it a console feeling game, also, "saving game, please do not turn off your consoles" is lazy, really lazy, and suggests which platform was the "lead" platform and which way the porting went.

The rather pathetic massive "press E" floating text/button appearing way to large over the screen all the time.

I remember when people were smart enough that a game would tell you the buttons in the first 30 seconds of gameplay and then......... would leave you to remember it and use your brain for the rest of the game, good times.

I never even noticed the please do not turn off your consoles message...

And FoV is completely irrelevant. Yes it being locked is a terrible act but its not a MP game and you don't really get any benefits form a wide field of view, people just want to whine about something.

And yes the OP is just trolling. I wouldn't be surprised if he pirated the console version given how soon he'd posted the ending spoiler in big red letters...

It's not a console port, fact.

The Source Engine is primarily developed on PC but can be ported to Mac and X360 quite easily. I believe the resources for each platform are shared so bits get mixed in. You can also find X360 remnants in files for TF2.

Is there a command to remove the on screen prompts?.

I found this on another forum, thought it was rather funny and reposted it on here. (for the record, I didn't buy the potato pack)
