Portal first slice - anygood ?

If you havent played it then it's worth the bandwidth.
I doubt I'd pay real money for portal though, only played it as it was part of the box

Played the first slice a while back. Very interesting and different to play. Although completed the first slice very quickly. Not sure on the full game.

Entertaining, but took about half an hour (if that) to get through. Didn't exactly make me want to shelve out for the remaining 8 levels.

The following 8 levels. makes up atleast 3/4 of the game :p

Lets just say Portal hasn't got rave reviews solely judge on the simple stuff at the start.

Exactly, Portal just progressively gets better and better until the very end, not to mention the MUCH bigger (and challenging) levels you get.

Make sure you don't listen to music while playing it, listening to GLaDOS is half the fun! :p

Say you don't have nvidia... What if you give you account details to someone else who already uses steam, and they have nvidia, will they be able to activate the games for you?

What happens when you cross Portal with Sushi? :)
