Portal question, can you still use the login?

I completed Portal last night and also came across a login and password in the game. From what I gather you can go onto www.aperturescience.com and login there to get some background storylines but it either does n't work anymore or I am just doing something plainly wrong as I can't find anywhere to login.

Could someone enlighten me on this please?

I think they've updated it sometime last year to that weird christmas image, but you can still read about the login and other old stuff here (obviously probably some spoilers ahead)
