Portal Type FPS Game?

Ok I've got a strange one for you! I was playing CoD4 the other day, try to kill an enemy that was surrounded by Claymores, and it came to me that I thought it would be a really good mod/game were you had to solve puzzle type thing to get behind enemy lines, etc. So sort of like portal where you have to do certain tasks to complete levels.

E.G. A wartime bunker with booby traps and explosives. Is there any games similar to this? I've always been a fan of point and click adventures, e.g Broken Sword, where you have to solve tasks to continue, So I guess this is just taking it to the next step

Pretty sure you can mod/enable the portal gun into HL2/Ep1/Ep2, if that helps.

I may look in to Modding CoD4 or possibly CoD5 because I think it would be better if you could do Co-Op too! You'd have to work out which explosives to blow up first without affecting something else, etc.
