Valve have opened a viral marketing site for Portal at www.aperturescience.com. Type LOGIN (there is also HELP), and then enter any username along with the password PORTAL. You then enter a DOS-like area that is navigable with the usual commands.

Got to some puzzel to solve, might end up guessing the answer though as I hate these things.

This is wierd

There seems to be flashing letters every so often, possibly spelling a word or anagram?

And ASCII art coffee cup keeps flashing up :confused:

Well I've got to the end now and entered my UIN wrong. Think the trick is to add the +L at the end which I fell for. Now it's telling me to stay at my workstation until a "Computer-Aided-Enrichment Crisis Team" arrives.

It asks some of the most bizarre questions ever.

Just went to try it again because I got bored of waiting and noticed that while the UIN is flashing some of the letters and numbers actually change.

I don't think you have to add the +L. The last screen wouldn't say "your assigned UIN (+L)", it should say UIN then.

Hehehehe, it states that your uin is case sensitive and you cant enter any lower case letters.

Found out from a post @ 1UP, that after you've logged on you can enter "THECAKEISALIE" or even at the end of the test when it asks for the UIN and it will take you to a security feed.

Ah, that'll be from the flashing single letters. I got most of those but must have missed a few at the start. I got something like "ache lies"
