We've been in Vancouver for about 4 and a bit weeks now and at the weekend we finally managed to get hold of a rental car and take a trip outside of the city. We headed North to Squamish and stopped at lots of places on the way, I thought I'd share my photos from a place called Porteau Cove, which is about a 40 minute drive from where we're living in downtown.

Not sure on this next one, a 10 stop ND was used, but for some reason it just looks a bit weird, the rocks under the water seem a bit blurry.

I can't wait to get back that for sunrise/sunset one weekend!

Thanks guys. Yeah we will be doing lots of exploring and hiking over the summer. Lake Garibaldi is top of our hit lists

Ah that makes sense. I was hoping for much longer exposures, but I was only able to get around 50 second as it was so bright out. I definitely want to return when the sun is going down so I can get some good shots with 2-3 minute exposures.
