I've been thinking recently about getting the best 20-30 images I have and printing them out, storing them as a portfolio. Mostly as something to glance through every now and then and to have hard copies in the same format/size of all my best shots. I assume others do this, what size and who do you use to do it?

One of the options that caught my eye was Loxleys fine art prints (actually that's what made me thing of doing this...) https://www.loxleycolour.com/gicleeprints.aspx . They probably wouldn't end up on a wall, although maybe in the future I could cycle them through a couple of frames and I was thinking something like 18x12 for each print, although is that too small? Any recommendations for other printers?

I've had nothing but good experiences with DSCL though I'd recommend being conscious of what you're printing on as it obviously changes the colour signature of the images and you'll have to account for that -that's true of any print though. A fair chunk cheaper than Loxley as well if I remember correctly.

DSCL I'd trust with pretty much everything that they sell and they haven't let me down yet. It might be worth going elsewhere if there's something specific you want like metal backed prints there might be printers who specialise in them, or specific gallery suppliers who focus on canvas prints etc.

I know of DSCL but do they have archival quality prints? I'm thinking more of high quality archival style prints rather than the normal printing (which I would go straight to Loxley for). For example the Glacee prints there are £12 for an 18x12.
