POS software

Hi guys,

The Mrs and I opened a hairsalon ~ 4 months ago, i've now ordered a small Atom PC with Monitor etc. However I'm in need of some POS software that would be suitable for a hairsalon.

All the ones I've found so far are absolutely taking the biscuit pricing wise. Anyone know of any free/opensource solutions?

I couldn't help but laugh at this thread title, I was expecting a rant.

Can't help personally but it might be worth asking in the enterprise forum if you don't get an answer here.

Side note - have you used an Atom box before? I've been seriously unimpressed with the ones I've used.

And does it have to be PCI compliant?

PCI compliance does not matter as payment is taken through the PDQ which is separate.

AirPOS is free to use on a single system.
