My gf has a laptop that has a slightly odd problem, every so often completely randomly, the internet browser loads up, quite often dozens of windows open! I'm fairly sure it's not a software problem since it's been reformatted several times and the master boot record has been wiped to incase it's a virus. I'm not the one that's formatted it tho so i don't know if they've installed anything after that's causing the problem.
I'm thinking it's possibly a loose connection or faulty component that's somehow calling the browser to open, a lot of keyboards have browser buttons on em, altho that's a complete guess. In order to try and work out what's causing it, is there any way of tracking what's calling the program? Or maybe there's a way of blocking keyboard shortcuts for it?
It seems to do it completely randomly, altho it does seem to do it more often when someone's touching or moving it, that could be a coincidence though. It's a Tiny Mediabook U64-3000, Tiny couldn't fix it and refused to replace it before they went bust so there's no chance of them fixing it. Anyone got any ideas?
