Possible 150+ Core Speed Overclock ?

Hi Guys

Can you get 150Mhz more out of the 8800GTS 640? Standard Core would be 500Mhz

Can you or not ? Stock cooling ?

Seems alittle too much as the Ultra is only in the 650 mark

doubt it very much on stock cooling ive got 600 out of mine on stock cooling but only just

Mines on 610MHz, not gonna try and push it any further tbh, no need.

. Mine is an Inno3D pre-overclocked to 570/900, but I can push it way more than that - certainly impressive for a 'budget' make. Well, I could until I had to RMA my power supply, can't for the replacement to arrive...

If stock cooler is as good as GTX and Ultra and you applied AS5 to core and hard good airflow in case, you could get that with a voltmod, but its hardware on the 8000's not a simple bios mod, it may be done by pencil or solder, not 100% looked into it as I can do 700 with my 655 core Ultra.

BTW, normal Ultras are only 612 core.
