Possible Borked Motherboard?

Ok, so I recently built a new box, a DS3P, E4300, 2GB RAM and a Sapphire 1950 Pro. It's all running at stock at the moment, and I've got Vista 64 installed.

I've been getting some BSODs (didn't even realise they existed in Vista!) when playing AVI files. The system crashes, resets and then carries on as normal. Memtests are fine, so it's not the RAM. I've also noticed some problems with the onboard audio on the motherboard, every now and again the audio output device disappears until I restart the machine.

So, does that sound like a borked motherboard? Only other thing I can think it might be is the graphics card, as it always happens with video files, but that wouldn't explain the audio issues.

There is an issue with the onboard audio which is a driver related issue. Google for the correct way to setup the drivers for your onboard audio. I suffered BSOD's before from using the onboard audio.

Just a guess

It seems a few people are having problems with this board.

What RAM are you using? Check the voltage for the RAM and see if its suppose to be what is it (these put the crucial at 1.8, rather than 2.2v which causes problems).
