I have decided to only do a small upgrade for the time being and a complete upgrade at the end of the year. The main problem i see is that the memory could be a bottleneck however the mobo wont support faster or more memory. Is the bottleneck going to be that noticeable? The PC will be used for gaming.

Upgrade:
OCZ Vertex 2E Bigfoot 120GB 3.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive to replace the 3x 160GB hdds
XFX ATI Radeon 6950 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 (Getting a good price from my brother :))

Current setup:
E8600
Asus P5B-Deluxe
BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC 768MB GDDR3
OCZ 2GB (4 x 1GB) PC2-6400 Dual Channel Titanium EPP-Ready Edition
3 x Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 160GB SATA-II 8MB Cache
1 x Samsung F1 1TB

No, memory will be fine, however the fact your running 4 sticks may limit your OCing a little, if you plan to do any on the Q9550, but speed doesnt matter too much, youve got 4 gig which is whats important
