Ive been having a bit of a play with the system and comparing to others and what they are doing. Im currently running an i7 3770k which is running at 4ghz and loaded at 1.104 vcore or so cpu-z is saying it does however bounce about a bit I think the highest ive seen in at was 1.119.
Anyway running prime my hottest core is anything up to 75c. Now I know that the ivys have an issue getting heat away but ive got a recon fan controller and putting one of the probes between a couple of the fins on my nzxt havik 140 it only gets up to low 30s and that after being loaded for a while normally it idles around the low to mid 20s so it is warming up.
Is there something wrong with my setup or is this normal? Is my heatsink not mounted right or is it just no good, or is it down to the dodgy tim on the cores?
Alternatively do I even have a problem?
