Hi all,

Not sure but think one of my two Sapphire R9 290 card just gone bust. If I try to start MSI Afterburner the PC freezes and I have to restart it to get it going again. So can't check with that program if both GPU is working. Any other program that I could check with, or do I have to open the PC and disconnect the top card and see if the 2nd card is busted ?? (Guessing 2nd card because the top one the Sapphire been showing Green light) Then again, saying that, both cards showing they having power, i.e. the Sapphire logo is turned on and there is 3 green lights on top of the cards that's lit up.

Also, when scrolling I get a bit of stuttering, which I had before I got my 2nd card (due to having 4 monitors going), that's why I think it's the GPU, but of course want to check what I can before doing a RMA and sending it back to OcUK.

Not sure what information else you might need but I have Driver Version 14.301 and Catalyst Version 14.9, when checking in AMD CCC it shows Crossfire is Enable.

Appreciate all suggestions you have because I'm not quiet sure what it is, and part from checking the cards one by one, no clue what else I can do. :o

Best be would be to remove one and test them separately if possible. And take it from there.

Thanks CEUOTC, I just done that and now everything is working as it should again. Very confusing.

Not sure what happened earlier, but for a while the 2nd GPU wasn't working.. or rather, it wasn't showing it was working.. I even started up Skyrim before trying them one by one and it was like having just one GPU running.

Obviously very glad all is working as it shall now but have no clue what happened or if it is a indication something is wrong.. *shrugs* but I guess if something is wrong it will show itself again..
