Possible dead motherboard - what to replace it with?

Hi

I think my motherboard may be dead:

Assuming I need a replacement, any suggestions what I can replace it with, that will cause minimal fuss in Windows? I am using Vista Ultimate 64 and don't fancy having to reinstall.

Current motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3.

First, I'm sure its under warranty & you might receive same make replacement.

If not, highly likely you'll be doing a chipset change (e.g. 965>P35), therefore recommended you do a reinstall.

How much warranty do you get on Gigabyte boards? It's over a year old.

Picked up an Asus P5KC. I guess a Vista reinstall would be inevitable.
