I bought a Vita last week on one of the various deals thats going around.

The only thing that is nagging me about the console, is that the top left shoulder button has sort of lost its spring. Its quite hard to explain, the button works, just doesnt feel as responsive as the right.

It sounds very small, but this will annoy me for a long time! Is this the same on all of the Vitas (unlikely) or shall I just exchange it for another one?

Roger, will get it swapped ASAP then ... Has anyone ever returned anything from Tesco Direct? I believe I may be able to take it into a store and sort it. If no one knows, I will give them a bell :)

The larger tesco stores that do the collect from store when you order online allow you to return items to the store for replacement etc. You would prob have to go back a few days later to collect your replacement when it arrives.

Mines the same!

Got it from Argos 3 weeks ago and my left button doesn't feel springy, the right button has a much more positive spring to it.

It doesn't really annoy me but I picked up on it as soon as I got it, so mine has always been like this.

Just tested this on mine (which I've had since just after launch) and the right shoulder button definitely feels a bit more springy than the left. Never noticed it before & it's not been an issue when playing so might just be how they're made. If that's the case then some might be more worse than others so if it bothers you I'd try and get it swapped.

I had a problem with the left button making a creaking noise, slacking off the nearest case screw by a quarter turn fixed it so might be worth a shot. A bit of research shows it was a common issue because Sony's factory sometimes over tightens them.
