Possible Downsizing...what AMD board to look at?

Hi All,

Current spec is in the sig, looking at decorating the study and to increase desk space I may look to downsize to a smaller size of case, something like this possibly: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phan...is-with-window-special-edition-ca-035-pt.html

What motherboard would you guys recommend to fit in a case like this so I can keep the overclock to what I am used to? May dust off my water-cooling to try push a bit more so a good clocker would be necessary.

Just a quick check: you want to keep everything in your current rig apart from the motherboard, right?

There are no mATX/itx boards that are good enough to do what you want.

I don't think there are any mini ITX boards for AM3+. I have seen m-ATX boards but the vast majority tend to be budget models using the ancient Nvidia 760 chipset with no vrm heatsinks and low power phases which wouldn't get you near your current overclock. There have been better m-ATX boards but I think you will have a struggle to find one in the UK.

Hmm thanks guys...little disappointing to hear! I know I am already pushing my 'budget' ATX board on the overclock so seems at the minute ATX is the only way to go then with the 8350.
