Possible driver idea to seriously boost graphics..?

Idea for HUGE performance increase for dual core users. Not sure if this would work due to the setup of it. Would also likely need a huge driver. The advantage is it uses some of the fastest buses on your system to help power the graphics the bad news is it would probably tax both cores fairly heavilly so heat output might be an issue. Simple idea is tho - have the graphics cards off-load some of their calculations into the second core. You effectively add at least another full core, taking into account the likely usage you can make of the cores more general registers etc - depending how well the bit of the driver managing it all works with amd/intel chips you could add at least 2 full cores worth of power to aid the card.
Only issue is with it the massive amount of data flying around the PCI-e bus and wether the card on the end of it could run its own core and talk to the processor fast enough at the same time.
Any thoughts on this? :)

BTW - if it takes off I taken a save of the html from the post so its date stamped (kinda) :D

If your talking about offloading 3D calculations to the 2nd core, it probably wouldn't be worth it because the GPU is much much faster at 3D processing than a CPU. Whilst not entirely similiar, look at 3Dmark06 CPU benchie for example :p

You'd probably be better using multiple threads for AI and physics.
