Last week my PSU took a leave of absence and I've since replaced it. Whilst I was doing that I also fully formatted my SSD for a clean start. Everything was working fine initially.
Every day since I did that, I've had an issue with running dual monitors. I can play a game on one, or watch twitch/VLC on the other with no problems, but doing them together causes both screens to freeze up for 1 second every 10 seconds or so. Audio continues as normal.
Fixing this has required a fresh install of Nvidia drivers every day. Just updating them doesn't work, I have to tick the clean install option. Then everything works as expected until the following day. I usually keep my PC on overnight but last night turned it off to see if it changed anything but it didn't.
I'm stumped. Everything works fine once the drivers are cleanly installed and there's no indication that anything has changed when I return the following day. I don't know what to do seeing as I only just formatted the drive and everything is at stock.
