possible eyefinity setups

is it possible to run 2 monitors stacks on 2 monitors ? i searched google but all the screenshots were either 4 monitors in a row or 3 monitors stacked on 3 monitors

Yes it is, See this link: http://www.amd.com/us/products/technologies/amd-eyefinity-technology/how-to/Pages/how-to.aspx

Then click Set Up,it then comes up with a setup guide. just have to wait a bit. slow to load on my pc.

Select 4 & it shows possible setup, click recommendations & it shows connections required.

will the samsung md230's work in a 2x2 stack setup ? i would imagine so but i just want to check as they are usually sold in x3 or x6

Can't see why not, Samsung say up to six monitors in the blurb.
But they are only avaiable either as a one, three or six monitor package.

Also they are very expensive for what they offer.

Shame someone don't make a monitor with a clear bezel.
What I would like is a HD Projector which uses a H2 100w or similar car bulb cost a tenner or so.

I have a projector which I would like to use for gaming, already have a 8' screen,but a replacement bulb is over £150, which is beyond my budget.

If someone could make a projector at a sensable price which uses a 55w or 100w car bulb, they would make a killing.
