hi all, finally got around to completing my pc tonight but im having a problem with the gpu, its a used 3870x2 from a friend.
its got a 6 pin connector and 8 pin connector, with both of them plugged in the pc doesnt switch on, with non of them plugged in the pc switches on and the gpu fan is at full load but doesnt give a display on the screen and the same happens with just the 6 pin connector in, theres also 3 red l.e.d lights that come on, on the card itself.
any suggestions?

edit, as a back if this card seems to be faulty could you kindly reccomend me a graphics card on ocuk for under £50, wont be gaming, just web browsing etc
