dont know if its been posted before ( did a search ) but just seen this on my isps homepage .
the reviewer said


"I had the opportunity to run through the beginning beach area and noted while playing that it looked like Xbox Halo except on DS, it was running fast, and the control was responsive." Says Casamassina, who also notes that "the trademark Halo music even played out of the tiny speakers of Nintendo's handheld."

Xbox like graphics on the DS?

Running fast, though Halo ran notoriously slow for an FPS?

Although its obviously false, it might be a good move by microsoft if they gave their number 1 franchise to nintendos handheld, it would turn people away from the psp.
 
If they MS released it on the DS, I wouldbe more than a little shocked TBH.

The only thing it would manage to do is to introduce DS players to Halo, maybe in the hope they will buy a 360 for Halo 3? still, I will wait till I see screens :)
 
The full story from CVG:

A version of legendary Bungie shooter Halo was "completely up and running and fully playable" on Nintendo DS, according to IGN's Matt Casamassina.

In a post in his official Blog, Casamassina says that Halo DS was the brain child of an unnamed publisher other than Microsoft, but was eventually cancelled due to the "many egos involved" and other issues not mentioned in the post.

Even more amazing is that long-named journo also claims to have played a build of Halo DS, and describes it as "Metroid Prime Hunters but with a Halo facelift."
