Possible heat issue if I run two Gigabyte 280x Windforce cards

I've just upgraded my 6950 to a Gigabyte 280x Windforce, which so far is proving an excellent card.

My only concern is that I run an Asus Maximus V Gene which doesn't give any space between two cards in xfire.

Just wondered if anyone has any experience of running two cards (on air) on one of these boards? I'm trying to avoid going on water if I can!

just try to direct as much air flow to them as possible with case fans and test using things like after burner and that to monitor your temps
