Possible Home Network Needed

Hello,

I'm not hopeful about this being resolved - but I thought I'd give it a go. I think this is the right place, if not feel free to move it.

I have two pc's in the house. One has been in an RMA stage for a good few months and is unaccessible, due to it being a graphics card RMA.

There is a file on one of the computers that I sort of need - but as I don't have the replacement card, am reluctant to pay money for a replacement with the RMA on-going and can't swap the cards (as one is AGP and I need PCI-E) - I was wondering if I could link up the computers in some way that I could access the file?

Both computers are running XP Pro

Thanks for any help.

The PC with the file I need is PCI-E. It doesn't have onboard graphics and I've already exercised the friend option. :( To no success.

The file I need is on the desktop.

The hard drive with the file on it is SATA and the other computer is older and only has IDE. :(

Failing those, what is the absolute cheapest graphics card I could get, that would allow me access? :D
