I doubt I'll actually do this but anyhow. Basically my USB wireless adapter has broken and has generally been a pain. I wanted to change to a PCI one but when I checked I found my free PCI slot had a GPU cooler over it. Now I can't use this without changing the graphics card or motherboard
. AGP graphics cards are rare and I need a fanless one too, and a motherboard change means a processor change, RAM change etc. I also wanted a smaller case so I came up with this (bear in mind I have fairly little idea what i'm doing).
I already have a PSU (400W, enough?) optical drive, sound card and would like to use my existing HD at least initially (it is IDE though).
I am going for a very quiet, small PC which is good for general applications (possibility of more advanced music software in the future) and has some gaming ability
Incidently, that GFX card appears as a fanless model and its model number is the same as the fanless one on a competitor site, yet the description talks about fan speeds; any ideas
