Sleepyd and I are planning on meeting up in London on saturday. We are planning to meet at Westminster at around 4pm and try to get at least a couple of shots while there is still some light in the sky.

We will probably meet at Big Ben at around 4, but will make our way to the otherside of the river to shoot the Houses of Parliament s
ometime after.

Also worth shooting in the immediate area is the Millenium Wheel, Charing Cross Station, and some other buildings around there.

Anyway, if anyone fancies meeting up there that would be cool. :)

I'd love to but I'm going to Outlun Park during the day and I have a gig in the evening. Maybe if there was another one later in the year I could possibly make it then, providing transport is cheap :)

Have fun, looking forward to your shots.

Bit gutted I can't come but I'm off to watch Orient in the FA Cup at Charlton. One of our biggest days out in years so there's no way I'd miss it. Shame as I've been wanting to do a London meet with people off the board for ages.

Hmm, I finish work on Saturday at 5pm, I may only be in London about 6 or 7pm...but I doubt that will fit in with your plans? If it does somehow, just give me a station or stop I could meet you guys at and we may have something going!

If I do go...I'll be lugging all my Minolta equipment haha. If you mean next Saturday...well, I am not doing anything then, I have the week off. But it appears you mean the 27th!

I do mean the 28th. :)

You will probably be a bit late tbh. I cant say for sure if we will still be photographing then, let alone where we will be. Sorry mate. Hope to see you at F1 testing though! :)

Hi guys,

Don't know if this is a good idea or not but I'm near to London, living in Uxbridge atm, and have just bought a new Sony DSC-H1. Thing is, I'm a real noob to photography but really want to get into it. Would it be cool if I came along and learned a few things from the pros? I took some simple long exposure light trial photos tonight and they came out pretty well :)

What do you think? Would I fit in with the DSLR crew? lol.

Dude you are more than welcome!

Sleepyd and I are far from being pros! Ive only been shooting a year, and I have zero experience in shooting bulidings and the like at night. Sleepyd hasnt been shooting all that long either really.

If you still want to come, add me to MSN (if you use that) and we can talk from there. :)

So, we meet Mulder (who is a sound guy btw), and had a good three hours or so shooting along the river there. It was bloody cold though!

Here's a taster with a sample pic:

Well, thanks very much! My photos aren't as good, as to be expected from the lack of experience and DSLR goodness. Here's one of mine. C+C welcome. :)

The Wheel from an angle. This was probably my best shot, lol.
