I'm interested in buying a Macbook but have one small question first.

I currently have a ADSL USB modem which I know is not compatible with OSX, but I would prefer to set up a wireless network anyway. I've looked on the Apple website and came across the Airport Extreme Base Station. Would this allow me to simply wirelessly share my ADSL connection? Is it a easy process as I've never set up a wireless network on a pc before never mind a mac.

Also if I order a Macbook today (26th Oct) will it come pre installed with Leopard?

Thanks for any help.

Yes and Yes.

Airport Extreme is very simple to set up, and comes with relevant instructions on how to do so. It's just a case of plug in, enter details and away you go.

Leopard will be installed on Macs purchased from now on I would imagine.

BTW, rumors are that apple releasing a updated Macbook on the 6th, so its worth waiting for. I know that i am waiting :)

And I spoke to apple today about leopard, and if you order today and the next few days you will get leopard on a disk to upgrade too.
