Advice appreciated on below build please.

I've got monitor/keyboard/OS. Not going to bother with optical drive.

Looking for something that runs reasonably quiet.
I want a white case, as this is going in lounge with white furniture. Want something that looks minimal/sleek. My only concern with the below case is the lack of front air flow. Any other suggestions?
I'm half tempted to spray my old Coolermaster Centurion white: Centurion 5 so it looks like this: white CM 5 - stupid idea?

Just thought - I'll need some thermal paste. Any recommendations?

You dont need thermal paste, both coolers come with paste.

The PSU is hidden, so no need to go for the white one, besides you can get these extra fancy cables to add some bling.

What do you use this for?

I'm liking the 2nd build. Nice and white.
Not sure I can bring myself to spend £70 on cabling though :)

It's for general use, gaming, and my media box streams movies from it too. Needs to be reasonably quiet when streaming movies, which is why I was concerned about the case giving enough airflow to keep things cool - mind you, even a case with not so great air flow shouldn't get too hot when idling.

The Phanteks has a PWM hub so you can control the case fans from the motherboard.

The Antec will be the quietest as it hass sound deadening and has nice fans with low+high speed controllers.

Yeah, just been watching some vid reviews. I think I'm sold on the Phanteks :) It's got some nice features on it. That front rectangle can be unscrewed to allow more airflow, if need be. I like the rear exhaust fan mountings too, as the allow the fan to slide up and down to line up with your CPU cooler.

Ordered :)
Looking forward to my first build in 8 years. Can't beat a new machine with new OS installed, and the 8 year leap in technology should be fun too.

Stulid - just an update to say thanks for the advice.
PC is built and working like a dream :) Loving the case. It's BIG, but really nice.
Cheers

:)

That GFX card power cable, would it not look neater routed from another grommeted hole?

Dont forget to set the XMP profile in the BIOS for the RAM to run at its proper speed.

Maybe update the BIOS if its well outdated.

Yes....it would :) Not quite sure why I decided to do that....it made sense at the time!
Been enjoying it too much to power off and re-route :D
I'll do that when I fit the Matterhorn.

This cabling all down one side of the case is an amazing improvement from the jungle of cables inside the main area. Totally recommend cases like this.
