They're well regarded and have one of the better front wheel drive chassis from the period.
They were considered a little lardy at the time (around 1300kg IIRC) as they were a LOT heavier than the Scirocco, but that's quite a common weight now.
Interior was similar to the mk2 Golf, i.e. pretty hard wearing. The 2ltr was the slowest option available and I believe had a 0-60 time around 9 seconds. The faster versions were the G60 (supercharged) and VR6.
Corrados tend to hold their value well, though the 2ltr will be substantially cheaper than a good VR6.
Personally I'd rather have a spot of turbo rwd S13 fun, but the Corrado is not a bad car, just rather overpriced IMO.
