I'm going to be getting a new PC in the new year. It's going to be a purely gaming & browsing PC, I know you can't future proof to much, but I'd like to get as much useful life out of it as possible, I'm still running an I7 860 that I got in 2009. to give an example of how much I want to squeeze out of it.I'll be asking OcUK to build & overclock it for me. so that'll put the price up, but I'm happy with that.

I've got a KFA2 GTX 970 OC Silent "Infin8 Black Edition" that I'm going to use until Big Pascal comes out & I'll add that to the loop or setup it's own loop if there's space. I've also got Windows 7 Professional CD that I can copy onto a USB stick install that then upgrade to Windows 10.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £1,600.23

Thanks

Thanks for that. I thought the EVGA psu's were rebranded superflower ones? That's why I picked it, just didn't want the lights on the superflower psu.

But that's £60 off the price, cheers! :)

I'd heard the corsair PUS's aren't as good quality as the the likes of Super Flower or Seasonic?

Also I take it there's no real difference between the performance of 2666mhz & 3000mhz RAM?
