Dunno if this has been mentioned but does anyone know of a current promotion on vmax fuel? i stopped for fuel at a shell garage last week and there were signs on the pumps promoting an offer of Vmax at the regular unleaded price for one day. AFAIK individual forecourts haven't the authority to do this so i'm guessing it must be part of a national promotion.
I thought our members could do well to keep checking their local shell stations as filling up on a promo day like this would save a few quid.

that's why i mentioned it. a sign said "try Vmax at regular unleaded prices on aug 20th until 6pm" i'd be amazed if one garage had the clout to do this without the approval of Shell, so i'd hope it's a national offer.
 
Bit of an update for you lot.
From what i can gather this promotion IS doing the rounds, albeit very slowly.
But, and get how typical this is, Shell are not advertising it anywhere and they're only putting the notices on the pumps a couple of says beforehand.
All i can suggest is all you Vmax users should keep checking your local forecourt.
