It seems the latest Spectre/Meltdown patches with win 1809 are not helping:

If you look around there were reports that the latest 416 drivers were dropping peformance,but this happened with the Win1809 path release,so it does seem it is mostly down to the Win patches it seems.

I wonder if this only effects Intel CPUs though,as all the testing has been done on Intel CPUs.
