Hi my current rig is as follows

Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H
AMD Phenom II X6 Six Core 1055T
Patriot Viper 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C7 1600MHz
OcUK Value GeForce GTX 470
x2 500GB Western Digital 6G SATA drives running at 3G in RAID 0
X2 320GB Western Digital PATA Drives as important file backup
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
6 year old Antec Noisetaker 600W PSU

Nothing is overclocked.

I had Win7 installed on RAID and the array kept crashing corrupting bootmgr and leaving it difficult to get it to boot as attempted win7 repair was made difficult.

I have now got Win7 installed on one of the PATA drives and its more stable but I had the paging filed on RAID as well as installed programs. Eventually this chucked out errors and the array crashed. I managed to get it up and running again with the paging file moved back to the PATA drive and its more stable.

So my current thoughts are its the PSU as all drives are reported healthy, there are no memory errors, cpu is running at about 27 on air at idle and at about 39 under load, all drivers are up to date, but the PSU is old and may no longer be man enough to handle the load from my system especially as it now has a power hungry gfx card drawing from it.

Would I be correct in thinking its most likely the PSU?

:D
