possible problem with booting?

when i press the power button to switch the pc on.. it powers up for about 4 seconds.. turns off... *pauses* then powers up and works fine for however long i use it.

apart from today funnily enough, i went to post this thread about 20minutes ago and chrome crashed.. then the pc crashed.. then it restarted with a i/o problem (possible hardware unplugged or hdd may of failed) cue brown pants and lots of sighs. after waiting a while i switched back on and it booted up ala vista style, ran a diagnostic and booted up into windows 7 fine now everything seems to be working fine *fingers crossed*

this actually sounds right, when im running stock cpu i dont think it goes off for the 4 seconds. maybe it is just when overclocking. i just thought it decided when it wanted to boot properly and when it didnt lol swift kick to the case to fix it sort of thing
