Ive got my case through the post and i am almost ready to start my first build, though by chance on a gaming forum when i posted some photos some guys replied which gave me worries.

Basically they reckon that the screws supplied arent long enough for the motherboard and as a result their mobos keep shorting and frying. They didnt say for deffinite but it happened to both of them.

Is this a known problem that i need to do something about or is just probably unfortunate with them two? I'm already a bit edgy as i've never built a pc before so this aint helped much.

Scaremongering to be honest. Don't worry, it should all go fine. I've never heard of any LL cases etc. shorting, and I've done all sorts of silly things with mine. :D

Has the other person not used motherboard risers? If so that'd explain why he is shorting, make sure you put the correct number of risers in the correct places. The little brass hexagonal screws with a screw thread inside them. :)

Hi, someone is talking major tosh, the screws are fine. If the motherboards fried then it is a user installation issue...
