Possible PSU failing? help req.

Hi

I'm looking for some advice, my works computer has an old PSU that has three modes, silent normal and power which blasts all four fans inside the psu and it likes up red, now it is about 5+ years old.
Computer has recently started just crashing for no reason, i have not changed anything.
My only way to type this is to have nothing running and the psu on power mode.
Seems pretty obvious but would you think that it is failing?

What is the make and model number of the PSU?

it is a super flower sf-530T04
530w or 580w peak
i have an athlon 64 X2 5200
Nvidia GT430
4 gig Blue hyper x memory.

Not had this problem before

I'd put my money on the PSU from what you a describing. A good replacement would be this:

I'd of recommended the OCZ 500w BUT they are in big trouble as a company which could mean the warranty will be questionable.

Thanks for the advice, i think i'll go for that.
Bad news about OCZ and worse still the fact that i have just bought two ssds from them. :S
