Hi chaps, ive not encountered this before (never had a system powerful enough) i have an amd fx8350 running at 4.8ghz and a evga gtx770 sc acx running at 1359mhz. When running a graphics benchmark its fine, when running amd overdrive stability test its fine, but if i run both at the same time the fps in the gpu benchmark plummits to 2fps. Is this because theres not enough power available from the psu?

Im running a corsair cx750m bronze power supply. Full system specs in my signature. Any advice appreciated. cheers, damien.

The question is does your system exhibit these symptoms at any time other than when you run those two benchmarks together? If the answer is no, then the answer is simple: don't run those two benchmarks together.

yeah its absolutely fine any other time during games like battlefield 4 etc. its only when running amd overdrive stability test with any gpu benchmark be it heaven or 3dmark. i just wondered if it was a power issue because its the only time they are both drawing their max power at the same time. i was doing it to test the efficiency of my new watercooling loop as ive added the gtx770.

ill try at stock settings too and see what happens. thanks for your replys guys. cheers, damien
