Yeh indeed, my friend has come across it and thinks its good because it has low miles but I try to explain the obvious to him. I said I would put it up on here impartially and show him what people say. And since the BMW encyclopaedia has spoken hopefully he understands.

My advice should basically be, go high miles one owner youngish or go facelift (LCI) or just wait for the prices to drop.

I think all the advice has been good advice, why pay much much more for an old car just because it has sat around?

Also waiting gives him the best chance of getting a much better car for similar money, just have to make him see it.

Yeh I did this already, he is adamant that this is better as it has less miles. I think you can only help people so much, and if they want to make certain decisions then you just leave them to it.
