I paid more than that for my shed, which engine does it have?
Looks like a 1.6 to me, same as mine.
If it is, keep and eye on the water level, and also the oil. Head gasket issues aren't unheard of, although I'm sure that's no shock. Well looked after you won't have an issue though.
Also, if your heaters aren't toasty hot, it's likely your thermostat is shot. Replacement takes an hour, saves your fuel economy and means the engine heats up nice and quick.
And finally... assuming it is a 1.6, they like to be revved. When hot (after 10 minutes or so, so the oil is up to temp) don't be afraid to take it higher up the scale, the K series loves to be spooled up.

Common issues:
- Damp in boot, caused by rear lights leaking slightly. Check the spare wheel well.
- Air conditioning can be problematic due to age of components.
- Rear trailing arm bushes are a common failure on MOT. Worth checking out.
- Cooling system issues, leading to head gasket failure.
A final note, coming up to 60k is cambelt change time if it hasn't been done. It should be every 60k, or 5 years.
If it does start to lose water, don't assume HGF as usually it's the Inlet Manifold Gasket leaking coolant either internally into cylinder 1, or externally just under the manifold. Also, water pumps can start leaking, leaving coolant under the car underneath the cambelt area.
