Alright guys and girls,
I'm fairly new to Windows Server 2012 so I'm still trying to get my head round a number of things. So far I've been thoroughly impressed. The one thing that I've been looking for is a software updater similar to what I currently have with avast! AntiVirus which is installed on my Windows 8 machine.
Sadly you're unable to install avast! onto Server 2012 and I really like the software update feature. It checks to see what programs you have installed on your machine and whether or not they are the latest version. If it's not the latest, it highlights the issue and recommends you go ahead and download and update the software.
Now is there anything similar that I can use on my server? Ideally, I'm looking for a free software package that's fairly lightweight. I really want to keep my machine as up to date as I possibly can.
Any help would be much appreciated.
