So i am looking at GPU and there is different models all with different about of RAM attached with various OC and x thrown about on the end of them.

For it seems the higher the model with more RAM seems to be the best but i'm sure i am wrong on this most likely.

Bottom line what should i look for in a GPU if i want a fairly decent one, is there any particular stat which is the best stat to look at or is it a number of factors?

Thanks.

Possibly also depends what resolution you want to play at.
I have MSI's 780 Lightning, which is plenty good - Overclocks pretty well if you're into that and even at stock speeds has no problem with any game out there. However, I'm still only playing in 1080p.

If you're looking at 1440 or above, you'll more likely want the likes of a 780Ti, an R9 290X or perhaps the new 980.

Its not always about how much memory its also the bus that connects them. What's your budget as that will allow people to recommend whats best

Theres a few questions you need to ask yourself...
1. What games do you wanna play and what level of settings are you happy playing at?
2. What resolution is your monitor?
3. Whats your budget?
4. What spec is your system and Wattage of PSU and is there likely to be any older /slower components that will bottleneck your new Graphics card?

I'll agree with them :)

1. Most intensive is PS2 then EVE online and maybe Warframe, every other games like Total War Rome and XCOM:EW and ETS2 are not that heavy i would say.

2. 1600 x 900

3/4. Looking at this particular build.
