Hi all. I've been out of the hardware game for a few years and don't really know what things are worth at present. I'm looking to upgrade to an Intel build but don't know if it's worth starting from scratch again.

Currently have:

Corsair Vengeance - White
x7 Corsair SP120s, some with blue leds
XSPC water cooling system
AMD FX 8320 @4.2
MSI 970-G46
Asus stryx gtx 970
Kingston hyper fury X (4x4gb)
Corsair cx 750w psu

Would likely sell without hard drives but I have 2 x 120gb SSDs and a 1tb HDD. Along with a CD/DVD optical drive.

Possible to build an Intel rig that would out perform this for £500-600? Or would I be better off keeping what I have and selling parts?

Tia.

This is a tough one but i would more likely sell your cpu, motherboard and ram as a bundle and put the money towards an intel bundle. 6000k bundle with 16gb of ram would cost you about £350 not sure what you would get for yours but your still well under budget.

As for performance the better gpu you have then the bigger gains in terms of cpu pushing the gpu hard.

Is is worth it ? hmmm i would say yes .
