Possible to change contract with O2 ?

I signed up to O2 back in July when the iphone 3G first launched so i've obviously got about 12 months on the contract left. I've had a few issues with my iphone and to be honest would quite like to sell it and get something like a nokia n82. However, it is possible for me to change my contact type with O2 from an iphone contract to a standard monthly contract ??

Very, very unlikely. Unless they change the policies of the contract, there is little to xero change of getting out of it.

Hmmm, damn. I dont really want to get out of it as such, just swap to a standard contract while i see out the final 12 months.

In the last 6 months you will be able to barter with them for a new deal depending if you have 'overspent' or not...
