Possible to edit a website that was created using iweb?

I create a website for my group a couple of years ago on an old macbook, using iweb. It was my first attempt and did the trick for generating a bit of interest & for getting bookings.

However, I sold the mac a few months ago, thinking I would let the domain expire. We have since decided to try to retain the domain. My question then is, would it be possible to edit the website using Windows based software and if so, what would be recommended. (If its freeware that would be even better!).

It looks like fairly basic pages to be honest, not insulting your work just saying that there's nothing complicated about what's being used ;)

I've got an old-ish version of Dreamweaver so tend to stick to it, but Coffeecup is the only free one I've recommended in the past and that was to my cousin who's a complete moron. So if he can use it, I'm pretty sure you'll be fine spiki!

You'll probably need to download the site using an FTP client first, suggest using Filezilla (https://filezilla-project.org/) or Coffeecup's own client http://www.coffeecup.com/free-ftp
 
Thanks halfmad. I know it was basic but did the job.
So do I just download Coffeecup and redesign the site and then download the ftp and upload to my host from there? I'm with Vidahost and have all the ftp details but just not too experienced with this kind of thing.
 
grab Coffeecup and either one of the FTP clients I linked, there are tons of other ones you can pick from though!

download the site to your PC and edit it offline using Coffecup, once you're happy with it load it back to the FTP site overwriting it.

Two things to remember:

1. Take a backup of what you download, so you don't need to constantly re-download if you mess up something and if you do make a mistake you can always put the site back to how it is now.

Why not try and get something compatible?

I'll probably get destroyed for mentioning it but Virtualbox and a copy of mac osx.
