Hi all

Curently I have Steam and my steam games on my D: drive. I was wondering if there was a way of putting some like Just Cause 2 on my SSD.

Ta:)

Brilliant thread, I can now install Steam!!
I got really fed up with the whole SSD and Steam issue, just couldn't install anything because boom... no space.

Thanks!!

Yep, MK link works wonderfully for me and has done for ages.

The only game that has given me trouble is Arma2, so that is currently sitting on my SSD.

You are aware Steam can be installed to any drive, right?

exactly, i've been using the same Steam install on my computers data drive for more than five years now.

been on three drives in that time (160GB, 400GB, 500GB today) :D

Game Save Manager worked perfectly as far as i can tell. We tested it out with L4D2 and it took its time but transferred the whole game to the SSD and ran straight from Steam as normal.

Course we'll have to move it back because it aint worth it for L4D2 but shouldn't be long till BC2 gets put on it.
