Possible to have two separate campaigns on BFBC2?

I bought this for my dad for his birthday and obviously would rather not progress through his campaign, I was wondering if there's anyway of creating a new profile?

I've logged in but the mission progress is still the same in the singleplayer menu.

Any ideas?

Are you logged in as the same windows account?

The save files are stored in my documents, so unique windows users should have unique campaigns.

Same windows account yeah. Is it worth me making a copy of his save files and dropping them back in after I've played?

I see a bfbc2 folder in my documents, only has settings.ini / game settings.ini and a couple of crash report documents?

Or... Just make your own windows account and play the game without interfering with his campaign at all.
