Is there another, cheaper, way of doing it?

Edit: ideally without having to bridge my connection from another PC/Mac.
Edit 2: ooh, i do have a spare Airport Express. Would that be usable?

You have a Mac don't you?

You can plug the xbox into the ethernet of your Mac and set the mac so that it shares the connection that you get from wireless to the xbox.

Nothing I can do with the Airport Express? Extend the wireless network and connect it to the 360 via ethernet? That's what I was hoping.

Has the airport express got an ethernet port on it? If it does you can use that maybe. Not entirely sure.

It does, yes. I'm just going to try it out.

Works a treat. Configured the Airport to extend the current wireless network, popped in the ethernet and off I went.
