Afternoon there. I was just wondering if it's possible to some how make my Vista Home Premium machine go to sleep at a set time and wake at a set time and if so how?
However there are a few caveats - the machine is my media pc that lives under the tv, currently it spends most of its time in S3 sleep only waking up to record tv or when I'm watching tv. However I'm thinking of using it as a server for a few other things so would want it awake during the day - it can then go to sleep over night unless (and that might be the tricky bit) it's doing something else (like recording tv). If it were doing something else I'd want it to stay awake until I'd finished doing that.
Any ideas? By the way this whole waking and sleeping thing is basically to try and save electricity ...
